When and where is ESGCT 2026?
ESGCT 33rd Annual Congress runs October 27–30, 2026, at the Congress Center Hamburg in Hamburg, Germany.
Where is the ESGCT 2026 program?
This guide lists every organization on the ESGCT 2026 program with its sessions; the full program is on the official website.
How do I register for ESGCT 2026?
Fees and registration are on the organizer's registration page.
What conference is this?
ESGCT 2026 is the European Society of Gene & Cell Therapy’s 33rd Annual Congress, held October 27–30, 2026 at the Congress Center Hamburg. It brings together gene and cell therapy researchers, clinicians and developers from universities, hospitals and biotech with the vector, CDMO and tools companies that serve them, across sessions on vectors and delivery, genome editing, cell therapies, clinical translation, manufacturing and rare disease.
What is in this guide?
Every organization we can place at ESGCT 2026: 1,096 speakers, chairs and poster presenters from the public programme and poster list (1,213 invited talks, oral abstracts, education and workshop talks, chaired sessions, company lunchtime symposia and posters) rolled up to their institutions and companies, and the 29 sponsors and supporters with their level — 450 organizations in one list. Nobody is named; a speaker counts toward their institution. ESGCT publishes no attendee list and no booth numbers.
How are organizations typed?
Universities and research institutes, hospitals and clinical centres, drug developers (large pharma and biotech), suppliers (vector and cell CDMOs, tools and reagent companies, other services) and agencies, societies and charities. The topic filters are judged from each talk’s and session’s title, and for a poster from the category its authors filed it under (posters filed under “Other” or “Disease Models” are judged from their title).
How current is it?
The programme, speaker list and sponsor list were pulled on October 8, 2026, and the organizer’s poster list on October 16, 2026, eleven days before the congress. A poster lists its presenting author only, so a co-author’s institution is not counted. Odd-numbered posters are presented in Poster Session I (Wednesday, October 28, 13:30–15:30) and even-numbered ones in Poster Session II (Thursday, October 29, 14:00–16:00). A few invited talks were still untitled; they appear under their session’s title.
