What is ACT 2026?
The American College of Toxicology’s 47th Annual Meeting, held November 15–18, 2026 at the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa in San Antonio, Texas. About 1,400 toxicologists attend, most of them in nonclinical safety at pharma and biotech companies, contract research organizations and consultancies, with regulators and academics alongside. The program runs continuing-education courses, symposia, plenary lectures, exhibitor-hosted programs and a poster session, around an exhibit floor ACT calls the ACT Expo.
What is in this guide?
Every organization we can place at ACT 2026: the 89 exhibitors at the ACT Expo with their booth numbers, the 44 organizations on ACT’s supporter list with their level, and the employers of the 272 speakers, chairs and poster presenters on the public program (330 program rows, including 134 posters and the exhibitor-hosted programs) — 231 organizations in one list. People appear as job titles, never by name, and a poster counts only its presenting author, not its co-authors.
Where does this list come from?
Three public pages from the organizer: the meeting’s program and speaker list, the ACT Expo floor plan with each exhibitor’s own profile, and the Annual Meeting supporter list (as of October 6, 2026). Short descriptions are condensed from each exhibitor’s profile or its own website, or state what is well established about the organization. Nothing here requires a login.
How are organizations typed?
By what each organization is or sells to a nonclinical safety team: drug developers (pharma and biotech), contract research organizations and specialist testing labs, consultancies, model and reagent suppliers, instrument and software companies, and universities, agencies and non-profits. The topic tags — regulatory strategy, new approach methods, developmental and reproductive toxicology, pathology, genetic toxicology and more — come from the sessions an organization takes part in and, for exhibitors and supporters, from its own profile and website, at most three each.
How current is it?
Pulled from the meeting’s public program, floor plan and supporter list on October 8, 2026, about five weeks before the meeting. ACT Expo hours are from the schedule. Exhibitors and supporters keep signing up until the meeting, so the lists will grow.
Why are there no names?
This guide is about which organizations are in the room, not which people. It never publishes a person’s name.
