What conference is this?

PepTalk is a protein science and production week, held January 18–21, 2027 at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California. It brings together protein expression, purification, analytics and engineering scientists from biopharma and academia with the instrument, reagent, CRO and software companies that serve them, across tracks and symposia on recombinant protein production, expression platforms, purification and quality, analytical and biophysical methods, automation, display of biologics, multispecifics and T cell engagers, and peptide drug discovery and development.

What is in this guide?

Every organization we can place at PepTalk 2027: 203 speakers from the public agenda (225 talks, panels, roundtables and sponsored presentations) rolled up to their companies and institutions, the 50 exhibitors from the floor plan with their booth numbers, and 18 sponsors with their level — 166 organizations in one list. Speakers appear as job titles, never by name. The organizers publish an attendee list nearer the meeting.

How are organizations typed?

By the role an organization plays in protein science: drug developers (large pharma and biotech), then the companies around them — CROs and CDMOs, discovery platforms, reagent and instrument makers, software and AI companies, and consultancies and other services — and academic, government and non-profit bodies. The topic filters come from the track a talk sits in (both tracks for a joint session); a plenary session's topics are judged from its title.

How current is it?

Pulled from the public track agendas, floor plan and sponsor list on October 17, 2026, about three months before the meeting. The organizers add talks, exhibitors and sponsors until the meeting, so the lists will grow.
