ISLB 2026 is the 8th annual congress of the International Society of Liquid Biopsy, held November 7–9, 2026 at the Meliá Castilla Hotel & Convention Center in Madrid. It brings together liquid biopsy researchers, oncologists and pathologists with the diagnostics, sequencing and pharma companies that develop and use blood-based tests, across sessions on clinical applications, new analytes (circulating tumor cells, vesicles, RNA and proteins), early detection, minimal residual disease, pre-analytics and AI.

How are organizations typed?

By the role an organization plays in liquid biopsy: universities and research institutes, hospitals and cancer centres, and government and non-profit bodies; pharma and biotech; diagnostics companies and testing labs; then the suppliers — sequencing, instruments and reagents, software and AI, and CROs and other services. Research topics are judged from each session’s and poster’s own title, or from an exhibitor’s own profile.

How current is it?

Pulled from the public congress program, the exhibition floor plan and the industry partners page on October 16, 2026, three weeks before the congress. The program files every poster under the first poster session, so poster rows carry no time; posters are shown across the three poster sessions in the exhibit hall.
