What is AALAS 2026?

The National Meeting of the American Association for Laboratory Animal Science (AALAS), held October 25–29, 2026 at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston. It brings together the people who run research animal facilities and care for laboratory animals — vivarium managers, laboratory animal veterinarians, technicians, facility directors and in vivo researchers — with the companies that supply them.

What is in this guide?

Every organization exhibiting at AALAS 2026 so far: 202 exhibitors with their booth numbers from the public floor plan — 202 organizations in one list, each typed and tagged with up to three product areas, and a short description for 201.

Where is the program?

AALAS publishes its 2026 session program — platform sessions, posters, seminars and exhibitors’ technical trade presentations — to members only, behind a login (checked October 8, 2026), so this guide lists who is exhibiting, from the public exhibit floor plan.

Where does this list come from?

The organizer’s own public exhibit floor plan and the profile each exhibitor published on it — address, website, product categories and a company description. 160 of the 202 exhibitors had published a description and 147 a list of product categories; where an exhibitor published none, the short description is condensed from its own website or states what is well established about it. Nothing here requires a login.

How are organizations typed?

By what each organization sells or does for a research animal facility: animal model breeders and suppliers, vivarium equipment and caging makers, diets, bedding and enrichment suppliers, other lab products, contract research and services, and software — then the professional societies, universities and agencies. The product-area tags are judged from each exhibitor’s own profile and product categories, at most three each.

How current is it?

Pulled from the public floor plan on October 8, 2026. Exhibitors keep signing up until the meeting, so the list will grow.

Why are there no names?

This guide is about which organizations are in the room, not which people. It never publishes a person’s name.
